Everton welcomed the Leicester descent rivals to Goodison Park, while St James’ Park organized a burning issue between Newcastle and Fulham.
Another great clash at the bottom was on the cards when Ipswich was the host of Southampton.
And after Brighton’s beating 7-0 of Nottingham Forest in the early game, the expectations were high in the highest category of England.

Liverpool extended its advantage at the top of the Premier League to nine points with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Vitality Stadium, ending the undefeated race of 11 games of the hosts.
Mohamed Salah was the show star, obtaining both goals to bring his season account to 21.
The Egyptian opened the scoring in the 30th minute from the penalty spot after Cody Gakpo received a foul for Lewis Cook. Salah’s blow in the lower right corner left Kepa without any opportunity.

Everton offered a dominant performance to ensure a 4-0 vital victory over Leicester in Goodison Park, moving nine points in the descent zone.
The toffees did not waste their time affirming their domain, with Abdoulaye Doucoure by opening the score only ten seconds after the start. Taking advantage of Jordan Pickford’s long pass, Doucoure broke out in Leicester’s unstable defense to locate home confidence.
Everton doubled his advantage in six minutes when James Tarkowski’s precise pass found Beto, who coldly picked up the lower corner.

Southampton won a 2-1 vital victory over Ipswich in Portman Road, marking his first victory in the Premier League since November.
The result broke a frustrating race of six consecutive losses and 13 games without a victory.
The game began with Ipswich on the front foot. Despite creating several opportunities, including nine shots in the first half, they could not find the progress.
In the 21st minute, Joe Aribo pounced on a diverted cross to shoot Southampton to a 1-0 advantage.
Ipswich responded strongly and matched just after the half -hour mark. Liam Deap played an intelligent pass for the attack partner Nathan Broadhead, whose delivery found Delap for a clinical ending beyond Aaron Ramsdale, which does 1-1.

Fulham achieved a remarkable 2-1 victory at St James’ Park, impressive Newcastle with a return in the second half.
The URACAS had controlled the first half, taking a deserved advantage through the end of Jacob Murphy in the 37th minute.
Newcastle could have extended its advantage, with Sandro Tonali hitting the crossbar and Livramento Tino seeing his shot saved by Bernd Leno.
Meanwhile, Fulham fought to make his way and had an XG of only 0.16 in the first half.
However, Marco Silva’s side emerged revitalized after the break. Raul Jiménez level the score in the 61st minute, clinging to a brilliant pass by Antonee Robinson.
Jiménez’s shot diverted Murphy and the archer of erroneous feet Martin Dubravka and did it 1-1. Fulham’s domain continued, and in the 82nd minute, a mocking blow to Andreas Pereira was received by the substitute Rodrigo Muniz, whose final skill in the front post completed the change.
