Family of ‘U Guessed It’ rapper OG Maco speaks out after death at age 32

When news of OG Maco’s death began to circulate, his family confirmed his death in a social media statement. The family opened their press release by saying the death of Maco, whose real name is Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr., was “heartbreaking.”

Maco’s influence, as an artist and as a person, will be forever engraved in our hearts.”

His family asked that anyone interested in communicating do so through the rapper’s official Instagram account. Additionally, they thanked fans, friends, and followers for supporting him. “Today we celebrate a life that was extraordinary in every way.” concluded the statement.
