Janelle Brown’s son, Garrison Brown, whom she shared with ex-husband Kody Brown, died in March by suicide at the age of 25.

The reality star posted an emotional post on her Instagram account as the twelfth month of the year began. “First of the ‘big’ holidays without you, honey. We all gathered in North Carolina to celebrate together and we kept your photo close,” the mother of six began.

He noted that they laughed at Garrison’s “sense of humor” and that he told so many stories” about his life and times.

“We ate, played and enjoyed each other’s company. Now everyone is returning home and normal life will resume tomorrow. But I feel you close,” the mother of six admitted in the final paragraph.

Fans instantly flocked to their comments section to share stories about their own grief and how they overcame their grief. This commenter wrote:

Christine Brown admitted the late Garrison left a huge hole in her family

The bond Christine and Janelle share runs deeper than their relationship as co-wives and co-stars. As The Blast reported, she was one of the first to react to Garrison’s death. She confessed that everyone was trying to get used to not seeing the late 25-year-old.

“I’m going to have to accept that pain, because it will never go away. It will always be there. There will always be a hole the size of Garrison. It’s hard,” Christine admitted.

Since the tragic incident, which Christine described as “the hardest thing ever,” her tears have offered light comfort to fill the void Garrison left.

News of Garrison’s death quickly circulated through the media, prompting Kody and Janelle to roll a joint. statement as confirmation.

The post, which was shared on their respective social media accounts, read: “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy, Robert Garrison Brown.”

The TLC star described the late reality star as “a bright spot in the lives of everyone who knew him,” acknowledging that “his loss will leave a hole so big in our lives that it will take our breath away.”

Garrison Brown’s suicide was aided by alcohol poisoning

While the Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed in the autopsy result that Garrison died from a gunshot wound to the head, another factor played a role leading up to that point.

According to autopsy results, the 25-year-old’s tragic death was due to ethanol poisoning, also known as alcohol poisoning. His blood test reports confirmed that his alcohol level was 0.307% according to his iliac blood test and 0.370% according to his vitreous analysis.

The figures recorded from the comments exceed the legal limit accepted in the US, which is 0.08%, while anything above 0.40% is considered life-threatening. Traces of caffeine were also found in Garrison’s system at the time of his death.
