Last Tuesday, my group made a long trip on the hills west of Morgan Hill. We went in the Chesbro reservoir and went out to the open space of Rancho Canada del Oro at the end of Casa Loma Road. We return along road grapes beyond the grape reservoir. It was a good sunny but cold day, especially in the shadow. A warm lunch in our local delicatessen was later appreciated. One of our riding friends is fighting with a health challenge, so he could not travel with us for a few weeks, so we were delighted that he and his wife could join us at lunch.
It was also nice to enter this and some other good walks this week. The party is over during the next few days. We are starting the first of many storms in a row in the coast, a phenomenon called “Atmospheric River”. It makes walking less pleasant, but the rain will be welcome.
