Marvel’s rivals, the new and popular free heroes shooter, has a large list of comics characters, but there are many heroes and villains in the Marvel universe that players want to add it soon. Thanks to a new filtration, there could be some hope that these characters make their way to the hero shooter.
Data miners have been combed through deep lines of code within Marvel’s rivals to see if there is any mention of a new character that is added to the game. Tracks of possible heroes are emerging weeks if not months before the developer games are the official games to reach the game. While it is not guaranteed that these filtered characters are launched, it offers an idea of the developer’s plans for the list of constantly growth of the game.

Who are the characters of Marvel Rivals who have already leaked?
A DATA MINE He published a list of characters that possibly arrive at the game on January 23. This includes:
- Professor x
- Colossus
- Pasta can spots
- Jia Jing
- Gambit
- Rogue
- NightCrawler
- Anniversary
- Beast
- Place
Some of the other characters that had previously leaked for their possible release in the future are:
- Ultron
- Blade
- Angela
- Captain Marvel
- Dead Pool
- Emma Frost
- Bun
- The hood
- Phoenix (Jean Gray)
- Modern
Notease Games did not respond to an email confirming if these characters will arrive at Marvel Rivals.
When will these characters appear at Marvel Rivals?
There are no clues about when or if any of these characters will come to the game. The newly rumored characters are mainly X-Men, so the next season of Marvel rivals will probably focus on the mutant characters in the Marvel universe. The Hero Shooter is currently in the middle of his first season with the Fantastic Four, who also leaked before the season began on January 10.
However, according to a message from a discord for data miners published in X, Notease Games is aware of what data miners are doing and could deliberately insert the character names that the developer has no intention of bringing to the game.

How do data miners find these leaks?
As the name implies, these data miners analyze the extensive game code base to find specific lines of code that provide details of what comes next. With live service games such as Marvel Rivals or Fortnite, developers have to constantly update the game to solve problems, add new functions and more. They also tend to prepare the game for large updates by pushing some of the data to the previous and smaller updates. This means that every time Marvel Rivals receives an update, data leaks are presented through the code to see if there is any change on which the developer did not publish in the patch notes. They look for names, skills and voice packages for the next characters.
The developers are aware that this happens and will try to avoid leaks hiding the data within the code or adding some false names to throw data miners. There are also cases in which the developer intended to add something new and the data miners found it, but for any reason it did not work, so the developers never pushed the new live content and eliminated it in another update.
