Luis de la Fuente has been rewarded for guiding Spain to the success of the 2024 Eurocup with a two -year contract extension.
The previous 63 -year -old agreement should expire after the 2026 World Cup, but is now linked to the Spanish Football Association (RFEF) until the end of euros 2028.
De la Fuente has done a remarkable job with little fanfare after happening to Luis Enrique on paper after the departure of the 16 of Spain in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

After having worked for the RFEF in several roles of the youth team for nine years, De la Fuente approached the superior work and delivered an almost instant success, opting for a more balanced equipment approach and relieving some big names.
He also put great faith in youth with the extremes Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams Key for his success in Germany last summer.
The next parties in Spain arrive in March when they face the Netherlands in a quarter of the League of Nations.
