Chelsea recovered after the break to come from a goal down and beat West Ham on the return of Graham Potter to the Stamford bridge.
The local team was out of place for great periods and Potter’s well -organized visitors took advantage of a deserved advantage at the end of the first half through Jarrod Bowen.
But a very improved screen in the second half was rewarded when Pedro Neto swept in an equalizer.
And Cole Palmer, inevitably, had a hand in the winner when his low crossing/shot was placed in Aaron Wan-Bissaka to give Chelsea the points that took them back to fourth place in the Premier League.

Potter, on his first return to the ground since he was fired by Chelsea in 2023, will have seen much to be excited.
Bowen returned from an injury to a feature film for the first time in 2025 and was excellent at all times, opening the score with a brilliant low final after a Levi Colwill error.
Enzo Maresca had seen enough and made four changes in the 52nd minute.
And one of them, the former end of the net wolves, took them to a powerful end after Marc Cucurella returned the ball through the goal.
Palmer, who had seven shots in the goal in the game, then led to the area and shot in a ball that remembered Alphonse Areola’s head through the former Full-Bissaka of Manchester United Wan-Bissaka.
Mohammed Kudus had a late shot blocked when the Hammers fought for seven additional minutes, but Chelsea clung.
