Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s Mother, Connie Boss Alexander, Speaks Out

On Thursday, January 9, Connie Boss Alexander took to Instagram to share a lengthy statement in response to “hurtful claims” made about her son. Alexander’s statement apparently also referred to “publications that spread falsehoods.”

“Our family is absolutely shocked by the misleading and hurtful claims being made about my son, Stephen Boss. “Recent posts spreading falsehoods about Stephen have crossed all boundaries of decency,” he wrote. “As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. “He doesn’t deserve this and the kids don’t deserve this.”

Additionally, Alexander explained that since her son’s death, she has “remained quiet and out of the public eye to protect” her family.

“My main goal has been to heal and try to stay connected with my grandchildren,” he continued. “But when I read these terrible claims about my baby, our dear Stephen, I realized I couldn’t stay silent any longer.”

Ultimately, Alexander concluded his statement by stating that his family will ensure that “Twitch’s name and memory are protected” and (defend) his honor.

While Instagram user @melaninqueen1984 added: I am so sorry that you and your family have had to endure this. There was always something about her that didn’t sit right with me. You are a brave and strong woman and mother because the day I have to sign a confidentiality agreement for a child I brought into this world, they will simply not take me away from her. It’s sad that he is doing this for money, tarnishing his name and legacy. Even if he used drugs, it is no one’s place to expose him.”

This is what prompted Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ mother, Connie Boss Alexander, to speak out against Allison Holker

As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this week, PEOPLE magazine published a cover story featuring Holker. Additionally, the cover included the words “He Was Hiding So Much” and was accompanied by an exclusive video interview with Boss’ widow.

During the 18-minute meeting, shared via YouTubeHolker alleged that after Boss’ death in December 2022, he discovered a “cornucopia” of drugs in his belongings. This supposedly included mushrooms, pills, and “other substances” that “I had to look for.”

Immediately, Holker’s accusations about her late husband sparked a backlash. Social media users, Candiace Dillard, and even some other members of Boss’ family spoke out accusing the widow of exploiting Twitch and lying about her legacy.

Despite this, Holker maintained that his actions were to “help people feel safe to ask for help and support.”

Holker also subsequently issued a statement defending his decision to publish an upcoming novel about his life with Twitch.
